Filipina 'Asia's Next Top Model' represents Philippines at New York Fashion Week

(As released) The Philippines’ first “Asia’s Next Top Model” grand winner and ‘it’ Girl Maureen Wroblewitz holds her first fashion and beauty shoot in the Big Apple.

The New York Fashion Week (NYFW) Spring/Summer 2018 shows began on September 7 and have exhibited works by famous designers such as Jason Wu, Rochambeau, and Bibhu Mohapatra, among others. With inspiring personalities showcasing their work, many women (and men) will be all eyes and ears to the makeup and fashion trends NYFW has in store for them.

As a representative of Maybelline Philippines to the ongoing NYFW, Maureen aims to continue to inspire Filipinas by making catwalk to sidewalk makeup looks happen. Among these is the brand’s new Color Jolt Matte lip collection that is reportedly packed with three times more pigments in eight shades ranging from nudes, to pinks, oranges, reds and violets.

For the NYFW Spring/Summer 2018 show, the creative inspiration takes a different turn with a “makeup-first” approach gracing the runways. Wroblewitz, together with celebrity makeup artist Jigs Mayuga and beauty and fashion vlogger Kryz Uy, hosts video blogs to give everyone a backstage access to what has been considered as the biggest makeup and fashion event this season.
